Hi, I did buy brand new laptop HP HDX 16. On my desktops I work with Mepis from years. Now I've problems with installation any linux on my laptop - so I try live CDs first. First problem is sound, because laptop has HDMI as a second sound. Only all Mepises I did try founds it correctly, and new Kubuntu KDE 4.3 alfa 4 too. Second problem was wlan wifi connection. Stable Kubuntu and Cano 2 founds connection easy with ceni. The same was with volume control pad, and camera. In conclusion only one problem I've with Cano 2 - touch pad. It works like a normal mouse - You may click by left botton... If any help is in this time impossible, I'll wait for next Danum system with KDE 4.3. All distros with KDE 4.3 whose I did try like Debian, Sidux and Kubuntu had better than KDE 4.2 customisation, and did works great, but without some things like wlan, camera or sound on my new laptop.
